Really simple for account setup - wish this was available in 2007!

Can it keep out people on online who keeps getting in

For me its been a complete disaster causing countless hours at attempting to get my iPad straightened out. Im going on 3-weeks trying to receive email on both iPhone as well as iPad eventually causing a complete blackout of my iPad and trip to Apple Store to get restored. Upon getting home unable to get to connect with modem. More hours.. Finally, after approximately three weeks of working to get restored Im again receiving mail on my Apple iPhone but not my iPad. Many of my files were lost as Apple tech rep had to wipe out in restoring computer. I had decided not upgrading as once before had a similar experience but system, apparently with accidental finger touch, allowed to unload overnight. What a disaster its been.

Ive been using this app for about two years. My requirements are pretty basic, and I have not had any problems at all. Using an iPad3. Good job.

This app is amazing. It is an Google app that allows you to connect directly to your Gmail. The free version has a security feature which allows you to use a four digit passcode and for iPhone 5c a higher it allows you to use your finger scan feature.

If youre getting a divorce, you need this app! First, create a new email account so your spouse doesnt already have access to it. Then use this app to talk to your lawyer etc...without prying eyes.

A good app to have to safely check your mail without having to use your browser.

But I like the concept of not being terrified to hand your phone over to someone because of what might be in there or of maintaining whatever private correspondence you may have. so a locking email is welcome security measure

I really like this app for its ability to integrate with Gmail. One thing that it seems to do, and this may be my error but I havent been able to figure out how to change it, is that it doesnt seem to save the passwords for the Gmail accounts. When I switch, I have to reenter the password on the Gmail screen. Otherwise, the security is fantastic, the ability to manage multiple accounts is awesome, and its very user-friendly.

I like this because I can use a passcode with it. None of the other apps offered that, & its faster for me to enter a 4 digit code than to enter my password every time I want to access the app

Update review: I had previously reviewed at five stars to get the 200 points to stop the pop up ads. Got a message that my review was accepted and I had the 200 points to remove ads. Didnt work!! One of the most annoying apps ever. Ads by Google blocks the use of this app to the point you cannot get to your email account unless you download a Google product. No way around it. Removing this app from my apple devices as soon as I finish this review.

I opened my GMail account to keep the solicitors "quiet" in my email. I use it for persons that I know wont make my address available to advertisers. When I open my email I know items present have importance.

Certainly does what it needs to in a clean UI

Touch ID works well. Loads messages quickly. Why not add an option to immediately allow for Touch ID login vs. pressing the Touch ID button on the keypad?

Love this app. I needed the extra security. And the face is so simple. Just the way I like it.

lots of ads even when you try to remove them

I found as a work around if I use the Safemail App (only good for Gmail) and then forward my other mail accounts to my gmail account Im able to have protected access to my e-mails on my IPad.
